Caviar and cream - new recipe for the skin?
line of skincare products based on a novel ingredient, caviar
extract, said to promote the communication between cells and skin.
Leading German beauty products supplier Artdeco has launched a new line of skincare products based on a novel ingredient, caviar extract.
Through the caviar extract the Caviar Essentials line is described as combining a wealth of interactive minerals, vitamins and trace elements which can penetrate the human skin metabolism and support the biological functions of the skin. According to Artdeco the caviar extract promotes the communication between cells and skin, strengthens and repairs the important barrier functions while also naturally stimulating cellular metabolism.
The line comprises four products, Caviar Essential Concentrate (€24 for four 2ml capsules), Caviar Base (€32 for 15ml dispenser), Caviar Essential Treatment (€55 for 50ml jar) and Caviar Essential Eye Lift (€29.50 for 15ml jar).
The Caviar Essential Concentrate, available in ampoules, contains 97 per cent caviar extract. The product is designed to support the repair and the defence mechanisms of the skin, regulate the skin's moisture levels and 'normalise' the skin's water-soluble vitamins and minerals.
The Caviar Base contains micro-pearls of caviar extract which, the company says, has been developed in a high-tech special process. The micro-pearls are designed to release the caviar extract directly where it is needed, improving the skin's ability ot retain moisture and allowing it to absorb active ingredients of the Caviar Essential Treatment cream even better, says Artdeco.
The Treatment is described as an intensive skincare cream with caviar extract, vitamins, minerals and trace elements which stimulate the skin's metabolism. Ceramides and panthenol also act as moisturising agents, leaving the skin smooth and supple.
Caviar Essential Eye Lift is an anti-wrinkle care especially developed for the eye area. It penetrates the skin to leave it 'relaxed and radiant'. The Hyaluronic acid and urea are said to balance out moisture loss and minimise the appearance of fine lines. This product also is claimed to repair the skin's essential barrier functions while also stimulating cellular metabolism due to its mix of minerals, vitamins and enzymes. Feedback proteins also stimulate tissue renewal, improving the elasticity of the delicate eye area.
