Fancy a facelift? Now you can do it at-home
As the at-home beauty trend grows across the globe an anti-aging provider in North Carolina has introduced its facial toning system claiming to provide a non-surgical facelift.

Myo Technologies has introduced the Myotone Facial Toning System which it describes as a patented device that stimulates muscles and reduces visible signs of aging.

The at-home beauty devices market grew 22 percent last year and still holds a great deal of potential for the future too thanks to demand from anti-aging, toning and other skin care categories., according to market researcher Kline.

Trend

Convenience and economic rationalism are motivating consumers to bring home the beauty experience and this has seen the at-home trend go from strength to strength throughout 2013.

"It's a large and growing phenomenon, with at-home beauty devices offering multiple benefits a notable driving force,” says Karen Doskow, Industry Manager, Consumer Products, at Kline.

Ewa Grigar, senior analyst within Kline’s Consumer Products practice, adds, “Kline’s research is finding less optimal satisfaction with anti-aging and cellulite-reducing/toning products and herein lies a lucrative opportunity for beauty devices specifically targeting these particular skin care conditions.”

Sought-after

The Myotone unit and the complementary botanical skin care line, Myo Essentials, are aimed at cost-conscious men and women, ages 30-60, seeking a non-invasive approach to preventing or reversing signs of aging.

“In the comfort of their own homes, during lunch hour or after the workday, the Myotone Facial Toning System using technology based upon microcurrent therapy, helps consumers to achieve a remarkably healthier, more toned appearance and younger looking skin,” says Elizabeth Logan, CEO of Myo Technologies.

“The System functions as a non-surgical facelift, empowering individuals to restore their own skin’s tonicity. It’s a skin care toning tool that Hollywood elite have been using for years to get ready for big events, and now it’s available for everyone to use for their own ‘red carpet’ moments.”
