"We're especially honoured to have won against such outstanding international competition. It is a real achievement," said president of Diamond Packaging Harry Voss.
Diamond Packaging itself produced all of the paperboard components for L'Oreal's new Matrix Essentials line - including a booklet, accordion insert, fold-over coupon, counter display and header.
Diamond's structural design allowed the L'Oreal booklet to retain all of the individual product samples in one compact package. The booklet integrated both a glued sleeve and a glued pocket to hold a spray bottle and an interactive CD.
Adhering to the narrow timeline of the project, Diamond claims to have produced nearly 200,000 booklets in under 16 days.
Diamond Contract Manufacturing (DCM) provided all of the fulfillment for the contract, including automatically applying the glue to four panels of the insert to hold the packette samples, gluing the accordion inserts to the inside of the booklets, inserting a bottle, CD and a coupon into the booklet and also bar-code labeling each display or bulk case.
