Mundo Botanica moves into private label arena
expanding its capabilities into the custom formulations for private
label and bulk mineral make-up lines, in an effort to capitalize on
the huge growth in natural-based products.
Mundo Botanica (MB) describes itself as an earth friendly company and is a relatively new-player supplying the personal care industry, with a smaller business line supplying personal care products for canines.
The company says it is homing in on increasing demand for smaller to medium-sized businesses either starting up or expanding natural-based personal care and make-up lines. This includes skin care formulations created using aromatherapy oils and make-up lines that use pure micronized minerals free from synthetic or allergen ingredients.
The MB Bulk Mineral Makeup (MBBMM) product portfolio includes lip glosses, lipsticks, loose mineral products and eye shadow all free of ingredients such as carmine, talc or parabens.
The company says that existing formulations can be chosen from a broad range of standard product lines for bulk or private label purposes, or else new shades or entirely original formulations can be created.
Its raw ingredients capabilities include mild surfactants such as Decyl Polyglucose, pure hydrosols, aromatherapy grade essential oils, perfumery ingredients and cosmetic-grade mineral pigments.
In addition to product formulations, the company also supplies packaging and labeling, which means that ultimately it can provide turnkey solutions. This includes cosmetic jars, cosmetic brushes, lipstick cases as well as complete labeling and printing capabilities.
