The event, due to take place January 24-25, will provide a window into the latest technologies available to packaging suppliers, as well as bringing together individuals responsible for the development and branding of cosmetics.
It will include an international lecture and presentation programme that will highlight a number of new packaging innovations for the sector. The organisers say they are expecting 1,000 visitors and 50 exhibitors at the event.
As well as focusing on packaging design, the bi-annual event will also highlight research and development, product development, marketing, packaging purchases and packaging development.
Jan De Roeck, marketing director of packaging software at Esko Graphics, will give a general presentation, on Tuesdays January 24 at 4:30pm, when he will highlight the current challenges in the cosmetics packaging domain.
He will present a number of solutions allowing the industry to raise these challenges and will specifically explain the benefits of its latest collaborative digital design solution.
The company says that the different functionalities of WebCenter 6.0, include the ability to exchange files between with its clients. Accordingly this process is said to optimize the production process, reducing the error risk and allowing the two parties to work simultaneously in real time towards the final design.
The company, which is based in Ghent and employs 700 people worldwide, says that WebCenter 6.0 answers the demands of cosmetic packaging manufacturers, facing up to the demands of tight deadlines that must also comply with highly specific design briefs that meet brand and legislation requirements.
