Cloud Packaging Solutions reorganizes for growth

Cloud Packaging Solutions is reorganizing its personal care and industrial businesses to position itself for further sales growth.

Under the plans Multi-Pack, Span Packaging Services and Automated Packaging will be grouped together under the newly formed Personal Care and Industrial Packaging Group. Leader of new group The current head of Span Packaging Services and Automated Packaging, Les Teague, will become president of the new unit. "We believe this structure allows us to remain responsive to both our customers and the markets we serve, while prudently managing our growth," said Teague. Cloud Packaging Solutions said recent sales growth had been strong and that the new organizational structure should help the company continue on an upward path. Under the new structure, each of the subsidiary businesses will have a general manager who will report directly to Teague. New heads of business units Span Packaging Services, which specializes in personal care, will be run by Joe Erwin who was previously the director of operations. "Joe has shown an ability to lead our operations to levels of performance we had never before experienced," said Teague. Automated Packaging, which was acquired last year by Cloud Packaging Solutions, will also have a new appointment at the top. The producer of rigid container packaging will be lead by John Panaseny, who had been vice president of sales and marketing.
