Laveré natural skin care range relaunches

Luxury German skin care range Laveré has been relaunched with a new look and a number of innovative products added to the range.

The line, which is the more upmarket sister of the Lavera brand – both produced by Laverana – is being relaunched throughout Europe during the course of autumn/winter 2008 at department stores and high-end organic shops.

But it is more than just an image make-over. The line of products has also been extended from ten to 31, a move the company is hoping will build on the success of the original product portfolio.

Four skin care systems

The new line comprises of four skin care systems, three facial and one for the body, which are now geared up to the specific needs of different age groups.

As a consequence, the company has developed the Hydro category, which is designed for individuals aged over 25, Intensive, designed for ages 35 and above, Solution, for those aged 45 and above, together with the Body Effect category, which provides body care for all ages.

The range also contains organic ingredients and is BDIH certified, has been formulated to be light on the skin and is also dermatologically tested

Consumer tests prove worth

Likewise the company has also carried out consumer tests on the new range, which it says shows that on average 90 per cent of those trying the products reported that their skin not only felt better but looked better, too.

The nine product Hydro line is a system that aims at 24 hour hydration, relying on key ingredients such as hyaluronic acid, water lily extract and a fruit acid complex made up of organic apricot, pomegranate and mango.

The seven products in the Intensive line aim to fight the first signs of maturity, including dryness, decreased elasticity and the first signs of wrinkling, using key ingredients such as Cova B Trox and plant-based nutraceramides.

Body care for all age

The Solutions line also contains nine products aimed at effectively combatting more advanced stages of ageing, including more pronounced wrinkling, relying on natural isoflavones to activate the regeneration process.

Finally, the six products in the Body Effects line all work towards a firmer skin with the help of ingredients such as seaweed extract.

The new lines are expected to be rolled out throughout Europe during the course of the next few months, priced at around €17 - €120.
