Organic Beauty is a bimonthly magazine that is aimed at the ever increasing number of beauty consumers interested in organic and natural cosmetics.
Published by Sovereign/Homestead, the magazine aims to inform women about the green alternatives that are available to them on personal care and cosmetic shelves.
Leading editor
Taking the helm will be Rona Berg, the former beauty editor of the New York Times Magazine and editorial director of Elle.
Explaining the role of the new magazine editor-in-chief Berg said: “Going green is no longer just a trend, it’s a lifestyle. Organic Beauty will provide a smart, sophisticated resource for women who want to cut through the confusion and find more natural alternatives.”
Diane Hintz, publisher of Organic Beauty, said: “We are very excited to be teaming up with Rona to publish a magazine that will help women be healthy and beautiful.”
Organic content
The first issue of Organic Beauty carries a “Green and Gorgeous” theme and features an interview with actress Olivia Wilde, who tells readers why she recently changed her mind about natural and organic products.
The star of TV shows House and the OC also explains why she believes it’s unnecessary to “sacrifice your health with what you’re putting on your body”.
In future issues Organic Beauty will include articles about a broad range of green beauty products, trends and bargains.
