Aztec Technology pursues cosmetics packaging merger

Aztec Technology announced today that the packaging firm is in merger negotiations with a European cosmetics and wellness company.

A specialist in folding cartons, Aztec Technology serves a number of industries including cosmetics and is now looking to expand its position in the beauty industry and target the European market.

Potential in the cosmetics market

“Aztec Technology sees a great potential in the health and beauty market, and we look forward to bringing our innovations into the European marketplace,” said Keith Roberts, Aztec Technology’s interim president.

Washington-based Aztec Technology gave no further details about the merger talks except to say that the “arrangement offers tremendous benefits for both organizations”.

Meanwhile the firm is not ruling out other suitable candidates and is currently in discussions with a North American bio tech company.

Nobody was able to comment on the merger and acquisition plans before publication but Aztec Technology said in a statement that further details will be published as they become available.
