Coty appoints new head of Beauty Division
Coty has appointed a new president of its Beauty Division to manage all Coty brands available in mass distribution in the Americas, Europe, Asia and the Middle East.
Renato Semerari takes up the role after serving in a variety of positions at big name cosmetic firms such as P&G and LVMH. Most recently, Semerari has served as the President and CEO of Sephora Europe.
Semerari will take leadership of Coty Beauty in early May and will fill the shoes of Joachim Honigfort who retires in the fall after 7 years at the company.
Commenting on the appointment, Coty CEO Bernd Beetz said: “Renato’s broad and diverse experience will be an incredible asset in moving Coty and Coty Beauty towards the next stage of our success.
“He is an accomplished leader with a real passion for our industry and a phenomenal addition to the Coty family.”
