The company will be showcasing its latest ingredients and formulations portfolio for the personal care market, while also demonstrating how the company is ‘reinventing’ itself to cater to the changing needs of manufacturers and industry trends.
Integral to this is the announcement of a new global research and development initiative, which is designed to reinvigorate the company’s existing product portfolio, while creating multi-functional and technologically advanced formulations for the future.
Two new Vincience active skin care formulae
As an indication of what is to come, the company will be unveiling two brand new skin care technology products under its Vincience active ingredients brand, which aim to provide formulators with the type of properties that meet the increasingly discerning requirements of consumers.
ISP has invited the press to a series of press briefings that will underline the specific details of its new direction and how it will affect the manufacturers that it supplies.
The CosmeticsDesign-Europe editorial team will be attending a briefing and will conduct an in-depth interview with executvies at ISP to discover more about the steps the company is making and how it expects to achieve them.
Targeting active cosmetic formulations
Based in the US, the ISP Corporation is a leading global player in the fine chemical industry and, amongst others, supplies the food, plastics, agro and pharmaceutical industries in over 90 countries worldwide.
ISP has made major roads into the market for active cosmetic ingredients following its acquisition of French skin research and biofunctional active ingredient developer Vincience, at the beginning of 2007.
The acquisition gave ISP capabilities in the areas of synthetic biopeptides for anti-ageing, anti-wrinkle, slimming, anti-oxidant, and skin repair agents; biotechnologic active ingredients; biomolecules for anti-ageing, anti-wrinkles, hypersensitive skins, anti-irritation and slowing hair growth, and original purified marine actives.
At last year’s in-cosmetics event, ISP unveiled a new range of botanicals that were developed by its business partner Vincience to tap into anti-ageing, tanning and moisturising categories.
