Personal Care Products recalls nail remover

Personal Care Products is voluntarily recalling a nail polish removal after receiving two complaints of finger burns.

The company said it is conducting a nationwide recall of the non-acetone nail polish remover, conditioner enriched with gelatin, 6 fl. oz., UPC 4815592076. The product was being sold nationwide in small discount retail stores and retailers.

Personal Care Products of Bingham Farms, MI, said the nail polish does not meet product specifications and has the potential to cause chemical burns to the fingers of users. Any person who purchased a bottle is urged to return it to the store of purchase for a refund.
