The system has been developed to deliver key ingredients to the appropriate areas of the skin and the skin’s dermal layers through what the company terms “messengers“.
Ultimately the delivery system provides a more targeted result, achieving higher effectiveness and more noticeable results, the company says.
Trilexon key ingredient for anti-aging range
Greyson formulators say they have already established the delivery system’s effectiveness by combining it in three products aimed at the anti-aging market and all bearing the Trilexon brand name.
The products have just been launched on to the market in the US and include a Line Smoother, Eye Cream and a Night Cream, which are being marketed as a tri-pack combination anti-aging treatment.
Harvey Tauman, Greyson CEO, said he beleived that there is currently no comparable delivery system on the market and also beleives that, because of this factor, the first product batch is likely to sell out quickly.
Time release gives the advantage
Charles Fox, head of research and development at Greyson, stressed the importance of the time release factor behind this development.
"These skin care messengers are embedded in a fine invisible, water soluble film, which is spread over the entire skin being treated and is released slowly to the skin during the course of both the night and the day,“ he said.
Greyson says it will market the skin care line through multiple channels, including national and international shopping channels, direct response and the internet, together with a host of licensing agreements to use Trilexon in a variety of pharmaceutical and cosmetic products.
