The website, created with feedback from children and their parents, has separate, specifically targeted portals for children and adults.
Academy president, dermatologist David M Pariser, said: “The Academy is committed to teaching children and their parents about skin, hair and nail care, and an interactive and engaging website is the perfect way to do that."
Although the American Academy of Dermatology developed the website’s content, several industry partners, including Procter and Gamble and Beiersdorf, helped meet the cost of its creation.
