The Florida-based company sells the product under its house brand Pur Naturals, and it now joins the rest of the natural range that is available for private label customers.
According to National Blends’ vice president of marketing Marc Narine, the product has been made available due to high demand from existing private label customers.
Furthermore, he noted that there appeared to be growing demand for rosacea solutions, which prompted the company to make its offering available.
Strong demand for private label
In addition to an increase in demand for rosacea products, Narine also said there is a strong demand for private label ranges as margins can be very attractive and efficiency higher.
It is a particularly good solution for companies who have a market for cosmetics products but who don’t have the equipment or the knowledge to manufacture them, he said.
At the same time as developing the private label side of the business, National Blends is also looking to develop its sales direct to the consumer.
Narine explained how the company would be working on the development of this side of the business throughout the first half of 2010.
“We will be taking the PurNaturals range to the market and we want to take it into retail outlets and the internet, but we want to choose our partners carefully,” he said.
National Blends has been working on refining the products, tweaking their look and working on the market position before offering the range to retailers and distributors, he said.
