NPG represents and supports manufacturers producing sustainable raw materials, packaging and products, and TCC is the latest company to become a certified supplier in its Sustainable Packaging Supply Chain.
According to NPG, the multi-year association will focus on developing and commercializing new lines and types of sustainable packaging made from post-consumer recycled materials.
Supplier to personal care industry
TCC supplies sustainable packaging to several industries including cosmetics and personal care, working with brands such as Neutrogena, Coty and Revlon.
Marketing director Eric Clamp explained to CosmeticsDesign.com USA that the packaging line to arise from this partnership will be geared towards visual presentation at the point of retail, for example, blister packaging and decorated folding cartons.
“These will be produced in Post Consumer Recycled Content ranging from 25 percent to 100 percent PCR content,” he said.
Benefit of Nextlife Packaging network
According to the companies involved, this association will also allow TCC to take advantage of the network to connect with brand owners.
In addition, the company will be able to better communicate its sustainability efforts through the use of the Nextlife ‘seal of sustainability’ on all its products.
“Our new association with NextLife supports our commitment to delivering practical and cost effective sustainable packaging while eliminating ‘green washing’ via 3rd party certification,” said Clamp.
TCC can now offer its customers sustainable packaging supported by Life Cycle Assessment and carbon footprint analysis, he added.
