LVMH leader to deliver Keynote Address at HBA

HBA Global has announced that Pamela Baxter, president and CEO, LVMH perfumes & cosmetics for North America, will deliver the Keynote Address at this year’s event.

"We are delighted to have her deliver the opening HBA Keynote Address and know attendees will benefit from her wisdom and experience,” said Jill Birkett, brand director, beauty & wellness.

HBA says it is proud to have secured one of the industry's most successful and respected beauty and fragrance leaders, in its opinion, and is anticipating a speech that will draw from her vast experience and knowledge of the sector.

"With a career that has brought both venerable brands back to life and launched new brands and product extensions, Pamela Baxter is in the unique position to provide a high level view of the prestige market and future trends," Birkett continued.

Baxter has over 30 years experience in the luxury cosmetics, skin care and fragrance market and is currently in charge of brands such as Dior, Givenchy, Guerlain, Acqua di Parma and Fresh.

She has previously worked for various brands for The Estee Lauder Companies including Crème De la Mer and Tommy.

The focus of her speech will be based on her career and success in business, sharing her approaches to networking and professional development.

Industry leaders panel

Also at the conference is Christian Bardin, president of CBA Associates, who will feature in the Insightful Industry Leaders panel, and was selected for similar reasons to Baxter.

Bardin was the president of cosmetics brand Neutrogena, and Meyer Rosen, president at Interactive Consulting and chief scientific adviser & director of technical programming at HBA, told CosmeticsDesign.com USA he ‘had to be there’ due to his experience and successful career progression.

The HBA Global conference takes place on September 28-30, 2010, with Baxter’s keynote address on Tuesday, September 28, 2010 at 9:00 a.m. in the Special Events Hall of the Javits Center in New York.
