Each of the five brushes, designed for make up artists on the go, has been selected as it can be used for multiple types of application.
Travel and space the key influences
HCT’s West Coast based operation, HCT CA, manufactured the brushes, explaining it had travel and space in mind.
Each brush is shaped with a full size head and bristles, and are also made with slightly smaller handles, which HCT says is so that they are ideally sized for a make up bag.
Nadine Yiang, project manager at HCT CA, stated that each brush has been carefully shaped by hand in order to ensure quality and precision during application.
“The aluminum ferrules were anodized black and the wooden handles were painted black with a glossy finish to give a modern, sophisticated look,” she explained.
Specifically designed set
Within the set, a medium sized natural bristle brush doubles up as a powder and blush applicator, whilst a pointed synthetic foundation brush is designed for application of liquid formulas and creams.
The set is completed by a natural bristle round edged brush and a tapered fluffy brush for applying and blended, as well as a smaller liner brush.
Dermoshop range
This latest line of make up brushes manufactured by HCT, comes after a limited edition brush set was designed for European cosmetics brand, Dermoshop.
Each brush in the four-piece set was crafted with aluminum handles with the face and eye-shadow brushes featuring natural bristles and the eyeliner brush featuring synthetic ones.
The brushes were custom screen printed with the Dermoshop logo on each handle, and encased in a protective zip-lock case for safe transportation.
