The new bottle line features twin chambers as well as dispensing for two-stage products, complementary products, or another product match that might require use at the same application time.
The bottles come in two sizes of 50ml and 30ml, with the chambers containing half the volume of each (25ml or 15ml).
Len Loffler, marketing director at New High Glass, told CosmeticsDesign.com USA that the larger size is excellent for a variety of personal care or cosmeceutical products while the smaller version is best suited to cosmetic sera, prestige treatments, or masstige skin care products.
“The bottles are aimed at cosmetic, skincare and cosmeceutical products, as the dual compartment keeps two products separate. These two products can be used in two different parts of the body. Many times the products need to be stored separate and only mixed seconds before usage,” he explained.
Loffler also explained the dual package has been designed so it is easier to travel with, as the consumer will only have to take one package instead of taking two bottles of products.
Made of polypropylene, the dual concept bottles have two chambers which both feature its own dispenser, which can be one of two types, provided by the Florida-based company as an integrated part of the solution.
The NDM dispenser provides equal and simultaneous dispensing of the two products with each stroke, making it easier for products that need to remain separate but that require proportionate mixing upon application.
On the other hand, the NDD dispenser allows each chamber to be dispensed separately, for phased application, or together if the end user should prefer it.
