LVMH announces Sephora management change

Global luxury group LVMH has announced the appointment Christopher de Lapuente as global president and CEO of fragrance retailer Sephora, effective at the end of March.

Lapuente will become a member of the executive committee, taking on more Group responsibilities, with all regions across the globe reporting to him.

For European operation he succeeds Jacques Levy following his decision to retire, and in the US, David Suliteanu will continue to lead Sephora and drive growth in the Americas.

Owner of the luxury firm, Bernard Arnault added: “Joining LVMH as a member of the Executive Committee and head of Sephora, Christopher de Lapuente will bring to the Group a wealth of international experience; his know-how will be a precious asset for the global growth of Sephora and add to the continued success of LVMH.”
