B3 utilises Lumson’s proprietary glass airless packaging
According to the Italian packaging firm, B3’s marketing team opted for the TAG System because in addition to allowing the use of sensitive natural ingredients, and the drastic reduction of preservatives, it also permits a "prestige" positioning of the cosmetic brand.
Lumson claims that the TAG System combines the aesthetics and practicality of a glass bottle with all the technical and functional advantages of an airless system, such as total product protection, no product waste and controlled dosage.
The TAG System also has a very strong eco-attitude which Lumson are very proud of thanks to a patented multi-functional component called "Eco-Lock system".
Responsible recycling system
This works by allowing the consumer, after usage, to simply unscrew the pump easily separating all plastic components from the glass bottle, thus allowing a more responsible recycling process of the two separated materials (plastic and glass), each one following its specific recycling chain.
All the bottles have been enhanced with a special decoration by Lumson called "Glass Enhancer", which is a spray colouring in the inside of the glass bottle to enhance the aesthetics of the glass and to create a better visual effect.
B3 chose a white spray colouring in the inside of the bottle that with a grey screen printing on top as well as a silver UV metalised pump.
The B3 product line is the first anti-aging cosmetic line in the world using an active ingredient originated from biotechnology called "NovHyal".
According to Lumson, both the formula and packaging in the range have been created with no parabens or paraffin, and more than 98 per cent of ingredients com from natural sources.
