Coty is the latest cosmetic company to donate to hurricane relief
The beauty firm has donated $100,000 to the American Red Cross, in a bid to help with the ongoing recovery and relief efforts after Hurricane Sandy.

"With offices in New York as well as facilities in New Jersey, we at Coty have personally seen the damages wrought by the storm, and witnessing so much heroism in the face of disaster inspired us to make this donation," says CEO, Michele Scannavini.

"Our hearts go out to everyone who has suffered because of this tragedy, and we want to do what we can to help those still in need," he added.

In light of Coty's commitment to help, it is also said to be encouraging its employees to give their time and resources to a variety of organizations that are doing the work to get the region back on its feet.
