The US division of the Paris-based luxury fragrance company, along with a division of Shiseido Americas Corporation, has entered into an exclusive, multi-year agreement for the sales, marketing and distribution of Ferragamo Parfums fragrances within the United States.
Reinforce long-term strategy

It is not a complete introduction to the US market for the fragrance firm, having been distributed in the country for over a decade.
Since entering the North America arena in 2001, it has developed and distributed 20 individual scents for men and women, and the brand is currently carried in several department and specialty stores in the US, including Bloomingdale's, Lord & Taylor, Macy's, Neiman Marcus and Nordstrom.
Attributes aligned

Beliard insists he has every confidence that BPI USA's proven experience will firmly position the Ferragamo fragrance brands for long-term success in the US market.
“Having personally watched the Ferragamo brand develop over the past several years into a reference in the luxury lifestyle segment, I could not be more pleased to enter into this new partnership with the fragrance division," he added.
The new distribution agreement will be effective as of April 1, 2013.
