Blue Marble signs distribution agreement with SAFC

Biotechnology company Blue Marble has signed a distribution agreement with SAFC that extends its reach into markets for personal care, worldwide.

Blue Marble Biomaterials, which is based in Seattle, Washington and manufactures specialty chemicals, has secured an exclusive distribution contract with Sigma-Aldrich Corporation’s custom manufacturing and services business unit, SAFC.

The distributor is a has agreed to promote and distribut Blue Marbles portfolio o of natural and sustainable biochemical alternatives, which are expected to be available for purchase in April of 2013.

“Over the past several months, we worked closely together to develop a comprehensive strategy to offer our all-natural, drop-in replacement biochemicals to its customers,"​ said Colby Underwood, Co-CEO and Chief Business Officer for Blue Marble Biomaterials.
