NYX Cosmetics appoints new chief creative director

The color cosmetics maker has appointed Cristina Bartolucci to the position of chief creative director who will work alongside NYX's Founder Toni K. in the areas of product development and overall brand strategy.

Bartolucci, a veteran of the beauty industry and co-founder of the cult brand, DuWop Cosmetics, brings over 20 years of experience in the beauty industry to her new role at NYX.

Her role as co-founder and chief creative officer at that company will be similar to the one at NYX cosmetics, which included overlooking the responsibility for all creative direction, product and shade development, packaging and logo design, merchandising, web marketing, photo shoots and collateral production.

"I couldn't be more excited to join the team. Toni K has done a tremendous job building a dynamic and innovative brand, and I am thrilled to bring my own experience and vision to help creatively grow the company to the next level," Bartolucci expressed on the promotion.

While Scott Friedman, chief executive officer at NYX added that; "With her impressive resume and combined industry experience in product development, packaging and branding, Cristina will play a pivotal role in the continued development of our company."
