BASF enters exclusive West Coast distribution agreement with Ross Organics

Global chemicals giant BASF has teamed up with Ross Organics for the exclusive distribution of its personal care business in the West Coast.

As part of the agreement, the distributor of specialty ingredients will issue the BASF business in California, Oregon, Washington, Nevada, Utah, Arizona, Idaho, Montana, and Wyoming.

The exclusive deal is effective as of this month and Ross Organics will become the only distributor effective January 16, 2014.

Selection

"The selection was made based on the distributor's strength in the west coast region as well as its expertise in the personal care market segment,” says Eduardo Padilla, Director Corporate Distribution BASF North America.

“We are very pleased with this new agreement and look forward to working closely with Ross Organic.”

Likewise, Ross Organics is also looking forward to servicing the western region with the BASF product line, according to Stephanie Leshney, Ross Organic President & CEO.

"It's an honor to be aligned with the largest, most comprehensive specialty ingredients manufacturer in the personal care industry,” she says.
