Crest develops a taste for chocolate

Crest develops a taste for chocolate
Crest, an oral hygiene brand from consumer goods company Procter & Gamble, is launching a new range of unusually-flavored toothpastes.

The range offers three weird and wonderful choices of toothpaste flavors: lime spearmint, vanilla mint and mint chocolate.

Although deviating from the traditional taste, the toothpastes retain the cleaning properties of the brands less bizarre-tasting versions, including cavity protection and tooth whitening.

Crest Be was developed out of the research and insights that consumers are looking for experiential purchases,” P&G announced in a statement.

The new toothpastes not only provide the foundational benefits needed for oral health but allow for an unexpected experience through flavors that offer personal expression."

Not breaking away completely from established tastes though, all three flavors are still firmly rooted in mint.

The range will be available from February.
