Pigment and Color Science Forum and Ti02 World Summit
According to the firm, this year’s combined event, which will also feature a joint exhibition, is expected to attract over 350 members of the pigment, TiO2 (titanium dioxide) and color cosmetics industries.
Smithers Rapra highlights that holding the two events together means attendees will be able to hear from experts in both topic areas and meet with more potential customers and clients at the networking events.
“By co-locating, the business executives, R&D leaders, academics, government policy makers, stakeholders, and investors that make up the key audience for both events will have more opportunities to build strategic relationships and greater access to the most current research and information,” explained Smithers Rapra’s conference director, Andrew Smaha.
This year marks the 14th edition of the Ti02 World Summit, which is set to explore the global TiO2 industry, including new applications, supplier perspectives and end user designs.
Pigment and Color Science Forum
The Pigment and Color Science Forum, meanwhile, promises to look at market trends, new advances in cosmetics and plastics pigments, and intellectual property matters among other things.
Dr. Isaac Cohen, vice president of corporate R&D innovation at Estée Lauder, and Paul Czornij, technical manager - color excellence group at BASF, are just some of the experts helping to shape the 2014 agenda.
Smithers Rapra is currently soliciting abstracts for both events from interested candidates, who have until April 4 to suggest a topic summary for the presentation.
The 2013 edition of the Pigment and Color Science Forum (previously Pigments & Color Cosmetics Summit) took place in Rome in October.
Highlights of the event included a presentation from Sensient Colors on pigment surface modification for cosmetics, and one from Merck on recent developments for special effect pigment.
