In-cosmetics Hamburg traffic goes through the roof!

At the in-cosmetics event in Hamburg, Cosmetics Design spoke to exhibition manager Cathy Laporte on day 2 about traffic numbers and what features of the show stood out for her this year.

According to Cathy, traffic numbers this year on day one alone came in at over 5,000 unique visitors, which she says if you compare them to the last non-Paris based show in Barcelona in 2012, attendance is up by 7%.

In regards to why Hamburg was the key location of choice for this year's show, the event organiser says "we needed to come back, the show has grown a lot since we were in Germany in 2009, and it's got great access to Northern Europe. Key players like Beiersdorf are also here too."

On asking Cathy what way figures look from Hamburg in comparison to that Munich based show, she says; "Then we had 4,600 visitors, so in one day here in Hamburg we've had more than 3 days of attendees compared to 2009."

Finally, the exhibition manager says this year's feature that most stood out for her was the Brazil country focus. "We are delighted with our partnership with ABIHPEC to create the new Brazilian pavilion and 14 companies also took part in the Brazil trail with innovative projects either with formulations from Brazil or inspired by."
