NYSCC Suppliers’ Day opens its doors tomorrow
The NYSCC Suppliers’ Day has evolved into a must-attend event for cosmetics formulation professionals, underlined by the fact that it continues to be oversubscribed every year, leaving the organizers on the constant look-out for new ways to squeeze in more exhibitors into exhibition hall.
The Cosmetics Design team will be at this year’s event, looking out for new product launches, technologies and company news, so expect to see a number of related articles published in the course of the next few weeks.
Look out for video interviews
The editorial team will also be conducting a series of video interviews on the stands that will focus on the biggest show highlights, while a photo gallery will reveal some of the most interesting stands and probably a few familiar faces.
This year’s event will include the 3rd annual Torch of Technology, which is a showcase incorporated into the exhibition floor space offering a scientific focus on new technologies and products from a variety of exhibitors at the event.
New this year, the Torch of Technology will also feature a number of exhibitors who will be platforming their innovations in a poster format, which will be displayed in conjunction with the other regular entries.
Brazil focus
For the first time in the event’s history Suppliers’ Day will also have an associated conference program, a full day of presentations that will focus on opportunities in the Brazil market that will be held at the Renaissance Woodbridge Hotel, today, May 12th.
The full day conference program will start off with an opening presentation from Dawn Thiel Glazer, who heads up Brazilian ingredient company Beraca’s North American operation. She will be giving a presentation titled ‘ A land of opportunities: vast natural resources and a growing personal care market.
Other presentations will include an overview of the Brazil market by Mohamed Omer, analyst at market researcher Mintel, as well as a look in on the regulatory and safety issues concerning the market with Silvia Olivier of Johnson & Johnson.
