People on the move: The latest industry appointments
Croda has announced a new addition to its North America personal care sales team, having confirmed that Peter Muller is to become the latest sales executive, based in Edison, New Jersey.
He holds a BS in biology from NJIT, is currently studying for his executive MBA and joins Croda from Salvona Technologies, where he was a senior technology specialist.
Muller’s role will be focused on providing service and support to Croda’s personal care customers in the Eastern part of the United States.
Amyris makes two exec appointments
Amyris is specialized in biotechnology-based skin care solutions, and in connection with that area of the business it has made two executive appointments, as part of plans to further grow the business in 2015.
The appointments are Caroline Hadfield as senior vice president Personal Care and Cynthia Bryant as senior vice president Corporate Development & Collaborations, with both appointments having already been made this month.
“Caroline brings significant experience to Amyris in the skin care sector, branded product development, merchandising, and a strong track record of profitable business growth, which will support our new direct to consumer products in the skin care segment, where we recently launched our premiere Biossance product,” said company CEO and president John Melo.
“Cindy brings proven global business development and partnership expertise to Amyris to support our significant current expansion in collaborations."
Gooding appoints VP of sales and marketing
Labeling expert Gooding has announced the appointment of David Conners as vice president of sales & marketing.
According to the company, Conners will be responsible for the development and coordination of Gooding’s sales and marketing efforts in the areas of pharmaceutical and consumer packaging solutions as well as new product development.
A New England native, Conners has previously held executive positions in sales, marketing, and general management with firms in the Boston area. He has a B.A. in economics from Fairfield University.
