Scheduled to open its doors next week, the two-day event will offer networking opportunities and a comprehensive conference program, which is focused on packaging and branding.
Balancing up the program with an ingredients and formulation perspective, the Cosmetics Design team will be chairing a segment titled, Exploring Innovations: Formulations of the Future.
Mark your calendar for an insight into future formulations
The roundtable will take place at 9am on the first day of the event, September 16th, and the three invited panellists will include leading experts from top ingredients distributor TRI-K, research consultancy Trendincite and private label manufacturer Omnicos.
Each of these experts will give a short presentation highlighting their take on formulation of the future, before bringing their quite different perspectives to the roundtable discussion.
During the question and answer segment the panel will be asked about the types of ingredients and technologies that are driving the market now and how consumer trends are likely to impact the shape of formulation to come, as well as highlighting the challenges to continually raising the bar.
Building on the success of the inaugural event last year, organizer Cosmoprof, part of the Italy-based Fiere Group, is looking to further evolve the event into a go-to for packaging professionals involved in the cosmetics and personal care categories.
Conference program includes five presentations
The event will be held from September 16 – 17 at the Hilton Midtown Hotel in Manhattan, and will kick off on the first day at 7am with a networking breakfast, followed by an opening ceremony as well as a half-day conference program.
The proceedings will commence with a welcome address from Duccio Campagnoli, president of Bologna Fiere group, as well as Fabio Rossello, president of Cosmetica Italia and Maurizio Forte, director of ICE New York.
This will then be followed by the conference program which includes five presentations on diverse themes all pertinent to industry professionals, commencing with the Cosmetics Design-hosted roundtable.
The other four topics will include a perspective from the beauty retail category, an update on Good Manufacturing Practice and a look into what the beauty market of tomorrow might look like.
