SCC Midwest Chapter gears up for Teamworks 2016

The SCC Midwest Chapter, which represents cosmetic and personal care business in the Chicago and Midwest area, is gearing up for its biannual Teamworks event.

This year the event will be held on April 6th at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, Chicago, and will be preceded by the traditional pre-event cocktails and dinner on April 5th.

Traditionally a platform for the cosmetic and personal care businesses and allied businesses in the Midwest region, the event will also feature a technical symposium between 8:30am and 12pm, complimented by the Teamworks expo in the afternoon.

Expo hall with 100 booths

The expo hall will contain around 100 booths, featuring businesses focused on the ingredients, technology and supply side of the business.

According the organiser, the event is geared up towards executives and professionals in the cosmetics and personal care industry, specifically chemists, chemical buyers, engineers and technologists.

There is an existing call for paper for the technical symposium so parties interested in highlighting new industry innovations, research or the latest science are invited to contact the Midwest chapter of the SCC by clicking here.

Networking opportunities

The event will also focus on networking opportunities, specifically on the exhibition floor, but also during the buffet luncheon, which will occur directly after the technical symposium.

Likewise, the Social Night on April 5th, which will be held at the Hilton Rosemont Chicago O’Hare, will also provide a more informal setting for networking and catching up with old acquaintances.

The evening event will be held in the hotel’s ballroom, from 6pm onwards, and will include a dinner, open bar and Mr. Myer’s Caribbean band will provide the entertainments. Tickets are priced at $120 if bought before February 19th, and $140 thereafter.
