Luxe Pack New York 2016 to feature new event elements

The 14th annual Luxe Pack New York event will open its doors May 11 – 12 at Pier 92 in New York and will again feature a number of new show elements designed to platform innovation.

The event has taken on many more dimensions since its humble beginnings, growing both in size as well as bringing additions such as an innovation zone, a conference program and coveted awards.

This year the event will host over 240 leading players from the packaging sector, mainly representing the cosmetics and fragrance industry, but also luxury foods, gifts, wines and spirits.

40 new companies to exhibit

And this year there will be over 40 new companies joining the exhibitor line up, including players from the fashion and jewelry sectors, which is new for this year.

New exhibitors on the floor this year will include Thinfilm – a leader in printed electronics and smart packaging, color cosmetics packaging player Qosmedix, fancy packaging provider Cypress Packaging and sampling specialist Identipak.

Interactive marketing events

Also new for this year are interactive marketing events that have been designed to provide greater visibility for exhibitors, as well as providing direct visibility and contact for attendees.

Building on this will be the newly introduced ‘Turbo Talks’, offering manufacturers a two minute platform to introduce and market their products to the Luxe Pack attendeeds.

Turbo Talks will be moderated by Tedx Talks speaker and branding specialist Terri Trespicio, who is also author of ‘Take the work out of Networking’.

The Arena - highlighting industry inspiration

The event floor will also be featuring The Arena – a where industry players can platform the most interesting developments and innovations in the industry through a one stop shop that highlights visual inspiration.

And finally, masterclass conferences are another addition to this year’s event, in the form of four dynamic seminars that will each be highlighting these specific topics: innovation, design, trends and sustainability.
