The new lines are based on the company’s proprietary Total Skin philosophy, which is also the name of the new brand that targets all four zones of skin in an effort to provide a more efficacious product.
As an integral part of this philosophy, DCL has pinpointed the skin’s four most important building blocks to achieve optimal skin health — stratum corneum, epidermis, dermal epidermal junction and dermis.
Advanced formulation, sensorial and standout packaging
Cherry Robinson, DCL president believes the launch of the new lines combines, both advanced science based on far-reaching research as well as a unique emphasis on the sensorial attributes as well as standout packaging to raise the bar for cosmeceuticals.
“Our scientists collaborated with top dermatologists worldwide to deliver the most advanced science, coupled with a beautifully sensorial experience for their patients,” said Robinson in a press statement to mark the launch of the new line.
“We’ve been able to build on our past innovations while maintaining the highest standards of integrity to ensure our skin solutions address the issues that physicians see most in their practices.”
Targeting the four skin zones
In the past DCL has carved out a position for itself in the cosmeceuticals category with the inclusion of skin care products incorporating glycolic acid into breakthrough formulations.
Total Skin targets the four skin zones by incorporating peptides, retinoids, vitamin C and AHAs, into new formulations.
And the range is all-encompassing, including 40 products that target: Age Prevention, Brightening, Anti Aging, Retexturizing, Anti Acne, Pore Refinement & Oil Control, Hydration, Sensitive, Suncare, Haircare and Hand & Body.
The range is also formulated to be paraben-, formaldehyde- and phthalate-free and is currently being stocked by approved dermatologists throughout the US, with the aim of increasing distribution during the course of 2016.
