Romaco ramps up cosmetics packaging

The company has just hired a new business development director for the North American region, with expertise squarely in the beauty industry.

Romanco develops, manufactures, and markets packing and process technology solutions for the pharmaceutical industry, as well as the food, chemical, and cosmetics sectors.

Beauty background

Goran Adolfsson, who is now in charge of business development for Romaco North America, comes with significant experience in cosmetics packaging. He previously worked as president of Coesia Health & Beauty, a company out of New Jersey that offers contract manufacturing and package engineering services to the beauty industry. Cosea is also known for tube filling machinery and primary packaging, namely tubes.

He also founded and ran Packaging Systems LLC for close to 10 years. That company’s focus is on fragrance and cosmetic sampling.

Given Adolfsson’s experience, it makes perfect sense that the company’s expansion includes the beauty and personal care industry. "With the extensive expertise Goran brings, he will be a great asset to Romaco as we continue to grow our customer base," Charles Ravalli, CEO of Romaco North America, says in press release about the new hire.

Moving forward

At Romanco, Adolfsson is charged with increasing the company’s market share in the region through sales, further business with existing clients, and relationships with new ones. “He will implement sales strategies aligned with corporate objectives, and work closely with management and marketing to successfully launch strategic campaigns,” explains the company press release.

Ravalli is optimistic about the hire: "His understanding of the packaging industry and Romaco's exemplary ability to provide highly flexible, quick and cost-optimized solutions that meet the highest quality standards will offer substantial benefits to our customers."
