Adore has six stores in Canada currently—one each in Quebec, Saskatchewan, British Columbia, and three in Ontario. And the company announced today that it will open three more in the coming months, at Rideau Centre in mid-August, at Oshawa Centre in October and at Tsawwassen Mills in October as well.
Here and now
The company, which specializes in beauty, anti-aging, and skin care products, got its start in 2001. And Adore Cosmetics has since grown its global footprint to include over 50 boutiques around the world. There are shops across the US, in Mexico, the Virgin Islands, the Caribbean, in Spain, Italy, Germany, Austria, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Singapore, Hong Kong, South Africa, Australia, and New Zealand, according to a press release about the company’s plans for Canada.
More to come
The company is gearing up for a substantial retail expansion in Canada, beyond the three new stores mentioned above. “Adore is planning to open at least 10 to 15 more boutiques in Canada, with a primary focus in super regional malls in British Columbia, Alberta and Ontario,” according to the press release.
The company believes that beauty industry growth and Adore’s focus on ‘organic innovation’ (which is also the name of its most popular product collection) will serve the company well going forward.
“Adore is ideally positioned to capitalize on the market interest,” notes the press release. And the company’s partner is helping create an experiential retail environment that looks to be in line with current consumer expectations. “The UHI Team has developed a concept that combines the best in anti-aging skin care with an impactful product demonstration presentation and luxurious retail experience that is already making waves.”
Momentum
It was just a few months back that Adore expanded here in the States, with three new franchisee locations, as Cosmetics Design reported. At that time the company also announced two international store openings, in Germany and the Caribbean.
Adore Cosmetics shares the credit for its rapid growth: “We owe it to our customers, really. They spread the word about our products, and more and more franchisees have approached us to open stores featuring Adore products,” Shay Segev, president and CEO of the company told the press.
