Alban Muller targets fast-growing US naturals market with LA office

France-based Alban Muller is targeting growth in the US market for natural and organic products with the opening of a new office in Los Angeles.

In recent years Los Angeles and the surrounding region has emerged as a real hub for US natural and organic cosmetic and personal care players, so Alban Muller’s decision to open up there is a strategic one that will put it in easy reach of many existing and potential customers.

Alban Muller International says that the opening of the new office in the Western US came about due to popular demand from the customers it already serves in that area, but also made sense as a means of providing a better and more responsive service.

The grand opening of the new Los Angeles office also coincides with the appointment of a new team member, Valérie Plotnikova, who is taking up the position of business development manager.

New business development manager

Plotnikova has more than 20 years of experience in the cosmetic and beauty field, but is switching to the supply side of the business for this latest appointment.

Most recently she has built her career around consulting, and founded her business, Nikova Consulting, which was focused on the beauty and retail industry.

"We are excited to expand our services and support to the West Coast, said Alban Muller founder and president, Alban Muller.

Our new office in Los Angeles, headed by our new team member Valerie Plotnikova, will give us the opportunity to be closer to our clients. We look forward to providing our expertise in natural cosmetics and sharing our eco-responsible conception for nearly 40 years

Alban Muller launches African-sourced ingredients

Earlier this month the company launched a new anti-ageing ingredient with a formula that is based on raw materials sourced from Africa, hitting the big trend in natural anti-ageing formulations.

Called Repulpami ER, the formulation of the ingredient includes a 100% natural blend of white hibiscus and baobab fruit extracts in a glycerine solution.

The development team at France-based Alban Muller says the ingredient’s active properties give it a range of anti-ageing claims, including plumping, firming and anti-wrinkle – all of which may position it as an alternative to procedures such as Botox.
