Based and started in the US, Peach & Lily’s founder, Alicia Yoon, created the online e-commerce destination Peachandlily.com in 2012 to reflect the US consumers’ interest in premium Korean beauty products.
Eastern appeal
After experiencing skin care products in Seoul, South Korea, Yoon used the country’s focused approach on innovative creations such as the K-beauty boom to leverage eastern product development philosophies in the US market.
Peach & Lily combines practicality with creativity and so focuses on delivering a variety of colour cosmetics through make up, nail and body products, and a wide array skin care products that tackle a variety of skin care concerns including ageing, lack of radiance and sensitive skin.
The Korean beauty space in the US is seeing rapid expansion as the APAC market develops global appeal.
To reflect the growing popularity of Korean cosmetics and beauty trends in the US, leading retailers such as Macy's, Sephora, QVC, Anthropologie and Target have drawn on the knowledge and experience of Peach & Lily to curate new Korean collections.
Promoting Korean cosmetics
The Peach & Lily Sheet Mask Collection includes three targeted masks that focus on a variety of top skin concerns.
“The launch of our own Peach & Lily brand sheet masks is in response to our skin-savvy customers' wish list – gentle, yet potent formulations, packed with super skin-friendly ingredients designed to deliver glowing results,” said Alicia Yoon, Founder, Peach & Lily.
Following the latest launch of its skin care face mask products, Macy’s has announced that it will be supporting and advocating Korean face sheet masks, demonstrating the popularity of the trend.
"We are pleased to announce that Macy's will carry the Sheet Mask Collection from Peach & Lily at 50 locations as well as macys.com," said Richard Zappala, Omni Buyer, Impulse Skincare for Macy's.
"These masks will be a great addition to our assortment while bringing our customers the best in Korean skin care innovation."
The range of skin care masks will tackle a variety of common skin care needs including, skin hydration, inflammation and anti-ageing.
New range
The beauty collection also appeals to the growing multifunctional benefits market - a consumer-driven trend currently dominating the APAC region.
As Peach & Lily’s product range features a host of benefits including natural and organic properties, anti-ageing performance and careful ingredient selection, its position within this marketplace is maximised.

Peach & Lily reported that Marie Claire has even referred to Korea as the “new skin care superpower, calling them about 12 years ahead of skin care innovation globally”.

“With thousands of beauty brands all competing for market share, the result is a Hyper-competitive, incredibly innovative industry that's at the forefront of the beauty world.”
