Cosmoprof North America raises the bar on green products

This year’s Cosmoprof North America event will highlight best in green, eco-friendly, clean, organic and natural products, giving a dedicated platform to one of the industry’s most important categories.

The concept is called Discover Green Leaf and will take the form of a dedicated area on the show floor to showcase products that are going the extra mile to ensure that their products fulfil the right credentials. No greenwashing here.

The carefully curated Discover Green Leaf area is being launched to compliment the Discover Green special area, which itself was unveiled in 2016.

Success leads to concept extension

The success of the Discover Green concept has encouraged the organizers to extend it with the new addition in an effort to highlight products that have been entirely designed around green living and the philosophy that surrounds it.

This year’s Cosmoprof North America will take be once again taking place at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas, 9 – 11 July, and the addition of the Discover Green Leaf space will see ten carefully chosen brands being showcased in the area.

Thos brands will include Hawaiian Body Products, Plantlife Natural Body Care, Nairian USA, and Balanced Guru, and will each be platformed in a 12 square metre ready stand booth designed to raise awareness of the brand and court buyers.

“Discover Leaf is truly unique in that it offers exibiting companies the ability to cross over into two different yet complimentary market segments- spa and specialty retail,” says Daniela Ciocan, marketing director, CPNA.

“Other events tend to exclusively focus on one or the other, whereas CPNA helps companies capitalize on multiple distribution models to grow their business. For our buyers, they have come to trust that we provide a well-rounded showcase to quickly and efficiently meet their needs and help fill their white spaces.”

In addition, the Discover Green lineup will include a significantly larger number of natural brands, including Feather and Bone, LVX International, Sonage Skincare, True Moringa and Emani Vegan Cosmetics.

Both areas have been strategically positioned on the show floor to ensure maximum foot traffic, the organizer says, while the concepts have been designed and fully furnished to make them stand out and distinguish them from other areas of the event.
