Just about this same time last year, Inolex opened its first facility in South America, a corporate office and warehouse operation. The newly opened Demo Center is immediately across the street from that site on the Rua Aspicuelta.
Hands-on approach
Updating existing cosmetics and personal care formulas to meet evolving consumer expectations or sustainability goals can be quite challenging. Similarly, developing new product in line with current trends and market forces is no easy task.
The Demo Center is meant to be a place where manufacturers and Inolex pros can openly discover, discuss, and disentangle those challenges: “When we understand first-hand the challenges that our clients are facing, we are able to work through suitable solutions together,” says Cris Saiani, Brazil country manager for Inolex, says in a media release about the new facility.
“We know Inolex ingredients can greatly impact a client’s product performance at a competitive cost. This environment allows for an open, collegial approach with clear results for the client,” adds Saiani.
Future forward
Last year Inolex went all in on beauty, divesting its other business. Now the ingredient maker specializes in preservation alternatives, silicone alternatives, palm-free alternatives, as well as natural versions of sensory fluids, sensory emulsifiers, polymers, and hair conditioning agents.
With an eye toward the future of the industry, Inolex is currently foregrounding “the promotion of safe, natural and innovative solutions.” So the product lines listed above are the ones the company will be focused on at the new Demo Center.
“The Demo Center provides tailored, technical guidance to clients through presentations, hands-on formulation and collaborative problem- solving,” according to the company media release. And these sessions are available to both current and prospective Inolex clients, but only by appointment.
