Reflecting this focus, the event will showcase the Make-up Bar, which is being rolled out for the first time at the show, as well as the innovation zone where the latest product launches will be highlighted, together with demonstrations of the latest formulation techniques and development during the full two-day program for the Formulation Lab.
The ingredients market gets more and more competitive every year, with new formulation trends attracting a plethora of new launches as an increasing number of players start to expand into the fast growing market.
Look out for the Cosmetics Design team!
All of this means that navigating the beauty and personal care ingredients arena is increasingly complex, simultaneously giving rise to the need for suppliers to be highly targeted and effective to get their message out.
The in-cosmetics Latin America event will open its doors in Expo Centre Norte – Blue Pavilion, situated in the North of the city, and Cosmetics Design will be covering the show, bringing all the highlights, including details on the key marketing initiatives that are helping companies to success in this competitive market, as well as a series of video interviews with key players.
The two-day event will open its doors on September 20th, and is expected to be the largest to date, reflecting the fact that it represents the fast-growing South American market, which has bounced back after a tough couple of years for the region’s largest market, Brazil.
Make-up bar debuts
This year the Sensory Bar will return to demonstrate the latest developments in the all-important sensorial area, while the new Make-up Bar will demonstrate how the latest ingredient launches and technologies are helping to forge new product possibilities in the color cosmetics category.
The Make-up Bar has been rolled out across the portfolio of in-cosmetics events in Asia, North America and Europe to great success, which is why the organizers have chosen to now bring it to its dedicated Latin America event.
Reed has insisted that any technology or ingredient that is demonstrated at the Make-up Bar is either launched at the show or within the last eight months in an effort to ensure that what fresh innovations are being highlighted.
Protection Showcase
The organizers are also premiering the Protection Showcase at the event, an area that will highlight products and raw materials that have anti-aging and anti-pollution benefits along with UV protection, anti-insect products and other protective ingredients.
And it goes without saying that there is also a comprehensive conference program, which this year collectively includes more than 50 hours of presentations.
A mixture of technical and marketing seminars will deal with a variety of industry topics ranging from regulation and scientific developments, to a number of trends focused presentations that will include input from market research players such as Mintel, Euromonitor, Kline, Beauty Streams and Peclers Paris.
