The inaugural CosmeticsDesign Summit focuses on skin microbiome innovation
A full two-day conference, ‘Skin Microbiome Innovation’ will be held in Amsterdam, Netherlands, a proven prime location to host leading speakers and delegates internationally.
The event will combine the editorial expertise of our global brands – CosmeticsDesign-Europe, CosmeticsDesign-USA and CosmeticsDesign-Asia – and will build on our extensive coverage already given to the topic, including numerous articles and a dedicated webinar.
“As an international business media company, William Reed has been covering the frontiers of probiotic, prebiotic and microbiome science for many years across our NutraIngredients websites and highly successful Probiota conference series. CosmeticsDesign has likewise been covering the skin microbiome extensively in recent years and it’s a logical continuation of this ongoing coverage to bring our engaged community of cosmetics industry stakeholders in this area together under one roof,” said Graham Twyford, executive director, EMEA/APAC, William Reed Business Media.
The skin microbiome trend
At the recent in-cosmetics Global event, also held in Amsterdam, Netherlands, skin microbiome formulations and ingredient solutions emerged as one of the highlights of the three day event, which is seen as the leading international forum for the industry.
A number of the major players were platforming ingredient solutions focused on protecting and promoting the skin’s natural microbiome, in turn aiming to provide enhanced skin protection and overall skin health.
Multiple niche skin care brands have already risen to prominence in the past few years, particularly in the European and North American markets, where consumers are interested in exploring natural-based skin care benefits.
