Kayla Villena, senior analyst in beauty and fashion at Euromonitor, spoke with Cosmetics Design at the recent Cosmoprof North America event in Las Vegas, Nevada, about the industry’s language and approach to aging over the decades and about what brands are and should be doing now to keep up with current consumer expectations.

A move away from anti-aging has been gaining momentum for some time now. In this video piece, forecasting trends for 2016, Cosmetics Design asserts, that “there will be more pro-aging product lines…[due to] consumer passion for fitness and wellness along with the fact that more people are living better lives longer.”

At CPNA 2018, senior analyst in beauty and fashion at Euromonitor Kayla Villena gave a presentation on the topic and shares her insights with Cosmetics Design editor Deanna Utroske in the video interview above.
