“I developed this new design for our packaging about four years ago,” Kemeny tells Cosmetics Design editor Deanna Utroske.
“What you’re able to do just by flipping the tip up and placing your finger underneath, you have an accurate depiction of what the actual color is against your skin tone,” explains Kemeny as he demonstrates the new bottle cap. Each cap has a hinged ‘fingernail’ that folds out for nail color swatching without ever opening the bottle.
