Aptar introduces Indie Boutique beauty packaging at BeautyX Summit

Indie cosmetics, personal care, and fragrance brands (and their agency allies) have been speaking up about the packaging services they need for success. Industry suppliers are responding. At last week’s BeautyX Summit in New York City, Cosmetics Design spoke with Jamiee Given of Aptar to find out more.

“There is a need for more indie-friendly programs,” acknowledges Aptar marketing strategist Jamiee Given.

Independent beauty brands are asking packaging companies like Aptar for “shorter lead times, smaller minimum order quantities, and of course, [to be] here…[and listen] to what they are saying at places like IBE, like Luxe Pack LA,” she tells Cosmetics Design editor Deanna Utroske.

And that’s why the company put together the Indie Boutique, a collection of top-requested packaging options that will be in-stock and ready when indie brands call.
