Emerald Performance Materials site redesign divides the business in two
“Emerald needed a revamped website to conform with evolving best practices for the web and to match its global, market leading status,” Ed Gotch, Emerald Performance Materials board member and Emerald Kalama Chemical CEO, affirms in a media release announcing the site updates.
Emerald Performance Materials now operates two distinct business groups: Emerald Kalama Chemical and CVC Thermoset Specialties. The Emerald Kalama Chemical group serves the beauty industry, supplying specialty chemicals to cosmetics, personal care, and fragrance makers. This group also serves a spectrum of other industries, spanning agriculture, automotive, mining, food and beverage, poultry defeathering, pharmaceutical, and more. Emerald Kalama Chemical has its headquarters in Vancouver, Washington and operations in both the US and Europe.
CVC Thermoset Specialties supplies materials, chemistry platforms, and technical support for high performance thermoset systems. This division of the company has separate manufacturing facilities in Akron, Ohio, and Maple Shade, New Jersey.
Redesigned
The site relevant to beauty makers is up and running as of Friday, according to the company’s media release. "The Emerald Kalama Chemical group has made exciting changes this year to transition to a more market-focused organization,” explains Gotch, “offering solutions for Consumer Specialties, Industrial Specialties and Antioxidants and Accelerators.”
“The new www.emeraldkalama.com,” he says, “has been designed to align with our new structure, our values and our mission as a leading global manufacturer of specialty materials.”
The clean new site let’s Emerald Kalama Chemical customers navigate to their industry of choice (e.g. personal care or flavor & fragrance blend) and then lists and links to each specialty chemical the company makes.
Rather than starting a search by market, site visitors can also navigate by product type: aroma chemicals or benzyl alcohol, for instance.
