in-cosmetics LATAM director gives insight into the 2018 event

During last weeks in-cosmetics Latin America event I spoke with show director Daniel Zanetti to find out all about what was new at this year's event, some of the key trends, and how exhibitor and visitor numbers looked.

This is the fifth edition of the event, and each year Reed Exhibitions has managed to grow and develop the show to take it to the next level. It started as in-cosmetics Brazil, but now it has greater regional and international scope, as Zanetti explains in the interview.

Although the final visitor numbers are still to come in, visitor numbers were up at a healthy 6% on the first day, while exhibitor numbers were also up, with 26 companies exhibiting for the first time in 2018.

Trends, highlights and take homes

With the need to revamp the show every year to keep attracting new visitors and exhibitors, this year the show floor featured a new spotlight exhibition area, which highlighted a number of concepts in hair care, skin care and color cosmetics from the leading players.

And with respect to key trends at the event, Zanetti points out that sustainability and all things green seem to be the order of the day, with many companies highlighting their sustainability credentials and strategies.

In the interview the key takes homes of the event were also discussed, highlighting what were the highlights of the show. Watch the video to find out all about that.
