Natural and organic market information provider Ecovia Intelligence has opened up the registration for a one-day Natural Cosmetics Masterclass training and workshop in San Francisco on January 15th, 2019.

The program includes a morning seminars session, together with a training workshop held in the afternoon, at the Hilton San Francisco Financial District, in the Northern tip of the city.

The new Masterclass will look at the future direction of natural and organic personal care products, with a specific consideration as to whether dark green brands or multinationals will be wielding the most power in the future.

In effort to make the program more personal, Ecovia has limited the number of places for the event to just 50, and those interested in finding out more or registering, can do so by clicking here.

The seminar session

The seminar session will run from 9am to 1pm and will cover a number of crucial topics for the category from a cross section of speakers.

Those presentations will include one from a pioneering organic skin care brand, which will be sharing its experiences about carving out a position for itself in the crowded market place, as well the challenges of meeting certification standards.

Other presentations will include a leading attorney speaking about the latest of regulatory and labeling issues, together with information from a leading market research expert about latest consumer trends in the category.

The workshop session

The workshop will run from 2pm to 5:30pm and will focus on the subject of developing green formulations by going into some detail about the specific challenges as well as solutions and tools available to brands and formulators.

Attention will be given to topics such as the current palette of green raw ingredients available to natural and organic formulators and how to get around the challenges that are thrown up in this area.

On top of this, a run down will also be given on the latest developments in the certification area, looking at the different roles that bodies such as USDA, NOP, NSF ANSI 305, NPA, COSMOS and Natrue play in this area.

Latest developments on green emulsifiers, surfactants and preservative systems will also be on the agenda.
