The in-cosmetics Paris appears to be the best attended event in almost to date, if preliminary figures prove to be an accurate representation. In this photo gallery we bring you some of the most interesting developments from the biggest formulation players.

With the organizers of this year's in-cosmetics Global event claiming that visitor numbers were up by 10% on the previous first day record attendance for the show, it seems that the 2019 event was on a sure course to record more than 12,000 visitors.

And there was plenty going on across the vast show floor at the Porte de Versailles Expo. If you click through the photo gallery above, we will take you through some of the highlights on the showfloor, which we have also summarized in the rest of this article.

We look at the offerings from companies such as Croda, IFF, Naturex and Evonik, as well as dipping into the featured areas dedicated for the ever popular Innovation Zone and sustainability corner.

The special zones with all the action

This year's Innovation Zone was bigger than ever, highlighting a plethora of beauty brands, as well as a complete cross section of ingredients - from raw materials to actives. As there are simply too many new products to single out specific products.

The Sustainability Corner has grown in prominence and magnitude in recent years, reflecting the fact that sustainability is now rapidly approaching an industry standard. This year there was a demonstration of a wide variety of products boasting sustainable credentials, as well as a series of presentations that included SEPPIC discussing their sustainable sourcing in Madagascar as well as a key note titled Okay, But Is It Really Sustainable, given by Lasse Six, of OWS.
